November 10th - Tiger Tailgate and Football vs Yale

UPDATE: We are in the 2nd row of Lot D! Look for the orange balloons above the 30ft food-filled tent!

This years's helmet design
features an inversion of
the orange and black.
The PAAEC is excited to host its biennial tailgate; a bonfire is on the line as our Tigers (3-1 Ivy) take on the Bulldogs! Before heading to the game, join us for a spectacular brunch that will include salmon & cream cheese bagels, sandwiches (both pre-made subs/grinders and “build-your-own”), hamburgers, hotdogs, chili, cornbread, assorted cheeses, brownies, mimosas*, beer*, wine*, assorted soft drinks, juices, and bottled water.

Please let us know if you're planning to attend (gillescarter@yahoo.com; 917-612-4334) as even rough numbers will help us prepare. Also, please also inform us if you can help (a) prep (b) set up and/or (c) clean up. It's a big event and we appreciate any and all help!

TICKETS

Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone (203-432-1400), or bought at the ticket office (9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri). The last day for mailing tickets is the Monday prior (5th of November). FYI- In past years the game-day ticket office at the Yale Bowl has been CASH ONLY.

Premium Reserved Tickets are $20. (Premium Reserved 12 & under are $10.) Side Reserved $10. General Admission $8. (For pricing trivia fans it is interesting to note that Yale charges $5 more for the Princeton game than Penn and Dartmouth). Please note: Online ticket orders incur a per-ticket fee plus a handling fee; phone orders only incur a handling fee; orders made in-person do not incur any fees. Also, a game-day promotion allows for a donation to the CT food bank of one turkey or $10 in non-perishable food to be exchanged for two general admission tickets.

TAILGATING

The PAAEC Tailgate will be located in Lot D. Our exact location (aisle, etc.) will be determined that morning, and for those of you with smart phones or computer access, directions to the tent(s) will be posted ASAP at the top of this post. Gilles Carter’s cell phone (917-612-4334) may also be used to determine tent location. In the end, though, look for orange balloons and the PAAEC Banner.

A full list of Yale tailgate rules can be found here. Parking lots open three hours prior to kickoff and all vehicles must depart the lots NO LATER than one  hour after the conclusion of the game. Parking permits can be purchased in advance, or on game day at time of entry to Lot D ($5).
